TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR FAMILY, WHO ARE THEY AND WHAT DO THEY LOVE?

We live in Glen Ellyn, where Charles is a pastor and Sara is an English Language teacher. Sara is from the Chicago suburbs, and Charles grew up in Ohio. Parker is now two years old. He loves trucks, trains, and cars. He is very inquisitive, energetic, helpful, and loving. He loves to read, which is one of the few times he will sit still! He also loves dogs, especially his greyhound, April.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN REASONS YOU LIKE BEING A PART OF THE GREEN DIAPER BABIES FAMILY?

Sara was a cloth diaper baby herself, and wanted her baby to have a more comfortable and environmentally friendly option for diapers. We love the convenience of having the diapers cleaned, and picked up and dropped off weekly. The diaper covers are cute too!

WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU SHARE REGARDING CLOTH DIAPERS?

Change the diapers more often than you would a disposable. Make sure every bit of the diaper is tucked in the cover!

ADVICE REGARDING PARENTING AND LOVING YOUR FAMILY?

Spend as much time as you can with your child(ren.) You never know when the last time will be that you get to give them a bottle, rock them to sleep, or help them brush their hair. Enjoy every moment! Dishes, cleaning, etc. can wait. Take tons of pictures, and write down everything. Keep a baby book, or a journal where you can write down what they did each day. Set aside time each week to spend as a family, even if it’s just an hour.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE ACTIVIES TO DO AS A FAMILY AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE?

We love to visit the Morton Arboretum (especially the children’s garden), go on long walks around the neighborhood, and cook together. Having a child makes even the most ordinary of errands (like grocery shopping) something exciting. We love to spend time with grandparents and family, and be outside.
