It’s a Protein Bar!

Since discovering this protein bar I make a batch at least every 2 weeks!  When I am on the road for deliveries, gone all day doing laundry, or am just working in the office and need a snack, this heathy, protein packed delight is my go-to.   I am super excited to share this with you, and hope that you enjoy it as much as I do!

 

These bars are easy to make; NO mixer, NO baking, and last for a couple weeks in the fridge.  With good-for-you ingredients and a little bit of chocolate these can be a wonderful morning, afternoon, or evening snack.  🙂

 

Ingredients:

2 cups Quick Oats

1 cup Crunchy Peanut Butter

1/2 cup Honey or Agave Nectar

1/2 cup Chocolate Chips

1/2 cup Dried Cranberries (optional)

1 cup Flaxseed

1 cup Protein Powder (vanilla or strawberry)

 

Mix the oats, peanut butter, and honey together.  Add the remaining ingredients and stir until completely mixed.  Press into a pan and refrigerate for an hour before serving.  They can be stored in a container up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
